About Me

My name is Isara Koy Suntichotinun. Born in Bangkok, Thailand, I moved to San Diego, California at the age of four. My family eventually moved again to Boiling Springs, South Carolina where I finished high school at South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. I spent two years at School of the Art Institute of Chicago majoring in Fine Arts and Visual Communications and I'm now I'm currently attending Grossmont College planning to transfer to SDSU.

You can usually find me at my parent's restaurant located in La Jolla, CA called Aroi Cafe!

Artist Statement

Isara Koy Suntichotinun is a multi-disciplinary artist whose main focus is in illustration, typography, and graphic design. His dream is to advocate for progressive non-profits and work for local businesses that benefit underprivileged communities. Koy is currently the Official Photographer for running Congressman Ammar Campa-Najjar, Blues Ambassador for Blue Note, and is a freelance designer who has worked for clients such as Seven Year Witch and Blues dance instructor and history advocate, Cierra Ruffin who runs Obsidian Tea.
